WND art show raises money for Arts For Life

Wendy Newman was the featured artist at the AC Hotel for 9 months with her canvas, metal and silk mandala designs. The opening honored Wendy's Cancer Warrior, Peyton Rice, while raising money for Arts For Life which provides art therapy for adolescent patients going through cancer treatment. The show was a huge success with over 250 people in attendance to see not only art on the walls but also the 13 models wearing the art via scarves, dresses, kimonos, skirts, leggings and beautiful umbrellas all featuring Asheville's iconic downtown landmarks and buildings.
